Why not try our Exclusive Stuffed Roasts, ‘Wow’ is the usual reaction when people taste these roasts for the first time, the flavour is unexpectedly rich and different. To make each roast, our butchers hand cut a piece of boneless meat, then lay on our own prime minced meat, organic dried fruits, or both. (Our ingredients are never bleached, coloured or treated with any preservatives.) Alternatively, braise some good old fashioned stews, for example, Beef Brisket, Shin of Beef or Beef Rib Trim. Not only are these hard-to-find cuts brimming with natural flavour, but they’re excellent quality too! Just pop them in the oven with onions, celery or root vegetables - add some stock, and a few hours later you’ve got a magical warming winter meal - perfect for when you’ve got friends and family round. Prepare these meats the day before serving, to take the stress out of cooking and store in the refrigerator overnight. Before serving, remove any fat that may have settled on top and ensure the dish is reheated thoroughly. Another quick and easy way to stock up on stand-by dishes is to freeze portions and defrost on demand. How does our Head Chef make a difference?

They check each sample for the quality of appearance, aroma, flavour and texture, making sure that everything lives up to Donald Russell standards.
